Who are ShopGay?

ShopGay is fully owned and operated by Out Europe BV who also produce OutUK.com from offices just outside Amsterdam in the Netherlands. We aim to offer all our products at prices comparable to, or less than, other online gay shopping sites, but remember all our DVDs are original manufacturers' copies and we know our prices are considerably less than what you'd pay in a gay or adult shop.

Will your DVDs work on my player?

All our DVDs are designed to be played in Europe using the standard PAL system. Unless otherwise stated they have no regional coding and can be played anywhere.

When will I get my order and will the postman know what I've bought?

The above table shows our normal delivery times to UK and most EU addresses, though many parcels arrive before the day shown. Please allow extra time for public holidays. However, as with any service there are exceptions and should you not receive your order within a couple of days of the specified timescale just email support@shopgay.nl or call in the UK 0871 890 3037 or +31 20 6464 286 during office hours. We ship thousands of packages every year and rarely do any go missing. If you would like extra-fast delivery please get in touch.

All products are shipped discreetly in plain packaging with absolutely no indication as to the contents.

If you are not in when your UK despatched parcel arrives, Royal Mail will keep the package at their local depot for 7 days enabling you to collect it personally or arrange redelivery. After 7 days the parcel will be returned to us and we will refund your money less a £5 restocking fee.

If you order a number of items then they may be dispatched in separate packages. In the case of DVDs sent by Priority Mail, this means that they are likely to fit through your letter box easily. Items sent by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery are likely to arrive before DVDs which are all sent from the Netherlands.

How much will delivery cost?

DVDs are shipped to you FREE OF CHARGE direct from the Netherlands by Priority Mail. Most other products are shipped direct to you by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery from a fully stocked UK warehouse pictured above. Orders for a number of items may arrive in separate parcels for security and speed of delivery.

For all other products delivery charges are outlined below. If you combine DVDs and other products you are only charged delivery for the non-DVD items as follows:

All DVDs are delivered free of charge and if you combine DVDs and other products you are only charged delivery for the non-DVD items. Some of the heavier art and photography books also have a small additional delivery charge.

What if I have questions about your products or an order?

You can track the progress of any ShopGay order by entering your 14 digit Order Number in the box on the Track Your Order page.

Lines are open weekdays from 10am to 5pm. Alternatively, please email us at: support@shopgay.nl If we are unable to answer your enquiry immediately we will respond within a maximum of 48 hours.

How can I pay?

You can pay using your VISA or MasterCard credit card, Visa Debit, Diners Club or American Express card at no extra charge through our payment processors Multicards and for discretion charges will normally appear as "Multicards.com" on your statement. We can also accept an instant transfer from your bank account if you live in the United Kingdom, Austria, Belgium, The Netherlands or Switzerland through our partners Payment Network. This service is free. We will be adding more countries soon. If you would like to send cash ( by registered post) or have other payment questions please call us at 0031 20 646 4286 or email support@shopgay.nl.

We check our stock levels everyday so that if it's on the website it's in stock. If you choose to pay using your credit card, your card will not be debited in the unlikely event goods are out of stock and we are not able to despatch them to you. In this case we will offer you the opportunity to cancel your order before your card is debited. If you have paid by bank transfer or email money transfer we will offer you a refund.

Once payment has been authorised we will email you within 24 hours to confirm that the order has been successfully made, and provide you with the expected delivery date. If you do not receive this email within one day please contact us immediately at this address: support@shopgay.nl. We will also confirm your order number so that you can use our online tracking facility and we will provide you with full details of how to contact us should you have any questions or concerns.

All products remain the property of Out Europe BV until payment has been received. In the event of payment for goods received being withdrawn because of technical problems, authorisation and address verification procedures or for any other reason, you will be contacted to arrange payment through alternative means. In the unlikely event that payment for goods delivered is not received within 14 days of a request from us we may charge you the administrative costs and any bank charges passed on to us in order to obtain payment for goods delivered to you.

Will you do special orders?

Because there are so many DVDs and book titles available, we have not listed them all on our website, only those we have in stock. If you know of a DVD or book that you do not see on our site, just get in touch and we'll be more than happy to order it for you. Just email support@shopgay.nl with as much information as you have. We'll do our best to find it for you and let you know about its availability and price.

Visiting Amsterdam?

If you are visiting Amsterdam we can offer same-day delivery of your DVD order direct to your hotel at no extra charge. Our prices are significantly cheaper than shops in the city and you'll be able to take your DVDs home with you or enjoy them in your hotel room. Just email support@shopgay.nl or call our Amsterdam office on 646 4286. From outside Amsterdam use the 020 dialling code.

What if I have a problem with something I've ordered or it's faulty?

Due to the obvious health and hygiene issues with the goods we sell, to protect our staff and to comply with EU legislation we can only accept returns under the following conditions:

We are happy to offer refunds or exchanges on goods that are unused and in their original condition & packaging provided that you contact us requesting a Return Authorisation Number (RAN) within 7 days of receiving the package. Items removed from their original sealed packaging are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Goods for exchange or refund must be received back at the return address given to you when you request a RAN within 14 days of delivery to you. If we suspect that the goods have been used or any of the above conditions are not met then we reserve the right to return the goods to you at your own risk. The cost of postage for items returned to us for exchange or refund is payable by you. We recommend that you send the item by a secure Signed For service as we are not responsible for returned items which do not arrive at our offices. If you have an item which you believe is faulty then you must also contact us before returning it to us.

Some customers ask us to remove DVDs from their sealed plastic case before sending them. We are are happy to do this, but can only accept a return if the DVD is faulty and for no other reason. Special orders can only be accepted for returns if the item is faulty.

Remember if you want to return an item you need to obtain a Return Authorisation Number (RAN) us by emailing returns@shopgay.nl or calling our Customer Service line in the UK on 0871 890 3037 or worldwide on 0031 20 646 4286 during office hours. We will also give you details of where to return your item. Customers who send items to us without a RAN will not be refunded and we will store the goods on your behalf prior to your instructions.

If an item you have ordered does not arrive within 3 days of the expected delivery date then we recommend you check at your local Post Office sorting office that it is not awaiting collection or with a neighbour. Items not collected will be returned to us and attract a £5 restocking fee which will be deducted from any refund owed to you. Parcels rarely go astray, but delays or problems occasionally occur and we will do our best to sort them for you. What is your Privacy Policy?

All credit card details will be handled securely to ensure your confidentiality and SSL encryption is employed to ensure sensitive data is protected. We will normally not email you except to confirm or query your order. We may occasionally email you when we have a special offer which we think may interest you. We will never pass on your email address to another company. We will always send your goods in plain packaging. If we are unable to contact you by email with an order or payment query then we may write to you at your delivery or billing address.
